Gladewater Bible Church
Luke is a graduate of Gladewater High School and a college graduate of East Texas Baptist University with a bachelors degree in Religion. He is currently pursuing his masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Having a heart for students and the community of Gladewater, Luke along with FBC college students and volunteers started a student outreach called the ’Underground’ located in Gladewater Texas. The Underground is a ministry for local Gladewater teens on Wednesday nights which consists of fellowship and Bible study. There is also a small home group at another time during the week for students seeking a deeper connection. This ministry is for students who are looking for a place to be themselves, to feel safe and loved, and looking to learn about the true Jesus.
Luke and Alisha’s passion for Gladewater moved them and FBC to expand The Underground into a full church plant called Gladewater Bible Church. GBC will bring the same passion and commitment to families in Gladewater that The Underground brought to students. The Underground will continue to work with students.
