Wanted: Comfort Food Hugs for FBC Families in Crisis

You can be a valuable participant in a worthwhile ministry for the Lord. You can provide a Comfort Food Hug and be the arms of Christ, reaching to encourag His family. Let’s get together and share Christ’s love as we provide meals for families in crisis. At the same time, we will help encourage our sisters as well as allow them to lift us up.
If you would like to participate, please make at least 2 casseroles. You can double (or triple) a family favorite recipe! All the casseroles need to be packaged so they are freezer-ready. (See note below for a description of freezer-ready). Bring casseroles to church on the day of the event (see below). One casserole (from each participant) will go in the church freezer to be used to bless a family during a time of crisis or need. Each additional casserole you bring may be traded for one brought by someone else, which you’ll then take home to bless your own family. You can make all your casseroles the same or vary them.
Freezer-Ready includes using a 13x9 disposable aluminum baking pan, covered securely with aluminum foil, labeled with the casserole name, recipe, and reheating instructions.
